Left untreated, tight muscles not only feel uncomfortable but may also lead to injury without the appropriate treatment. Whether you have a lower limb pain from lots of training, ‘heavy’ muscles and slower recovery time compared to normal, a reduction in flexibility or a stiff neck and shoulders from spending all day slumped over the wheel of a vehicle or a computer, SRMT will help alleviate your problems and help maintain your body in a better condition.


Every treatment is individual to your needs. Having assessed and identified the imbalance of muscles groups and associated fascia relating to your tightness or discomfort, I will utilise a number of techniques to release the muscle tension and restore the balance. These techniques include general superficial/deep tissue work, Myofascial release, Neuromuscular Techniques (NMT), Muscle Energy Techniques (MET), Soft Tissue Release (STR) and positional release.

During the treatment, I will use a number of posters and muscle models to explain your problem, why it has happened and what I’m doing to fix it. This empowers you to visualise the problem, see how the therapy will help and also understand how certain stretches and exercises will not only help fix the problem, but also prevent it happening again.
If after the initial assessment I feel your problems are not caused by a soft tissue imbalance, I will refer you to the relevant health practitioner who will be able to give you the correct treatment.
